Keewaytinook Internet High School (Graduate of 2021)

The first time I applied for high school. They asked me what kind of career I wanted. I wanted to help children in third world countries. As I got older, and started to find out the type of person I am. My career path changed. It changed many times the older I got, and I saw how the world functions. My career path took a tum for worse. Where at one point in my life I gave up once I got pregnant with my oldest. She is almost 12 years old, and I am finally thinking of continuing a career path. I took a business fundamentals accounting course in KiHS. I loved the course, and that’s when I decided I want to go into Business Accounting. So here is what I see in my future. I plan on going to Confederation College to enroll in Business Accounting. Confederation College wasn’t my first choice, but they are the only college that has a campus in Red Lake. Although I know most colleges have online programs, but I want to start in the fall. Also I can go to campus here in Red Lake to do my midterms, and exam. I can’t really travel with three children while being a single parent. Once I complete my program. I would like to explore the world of business more to see how far I can go. The reason being I want to get into Business Accounting is so that I can start my own business one day. I would also like to help my community with their finances, and wherever I can put my accounting skills to the test. Whichever comes first. I want to be the best role model for my children. I may have accomplished getting my diploma later on in my life, but I would like my kids to know they can do anything they set their minds to.

Congratulations to all of our recipients!
